Accessibility statement

This site has been built following the W3C's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. It is a simple informational website, with no shopping cart or user area, which makes it easier to maintain this level of conformance.
1. Scope of this statement
This statement applies to the website aguaalcalinacanarias.es, including its content pages, the blog and the contact forms.
2. Accessibility measures applied
- Consistent semantic heading structure (H1, H2, H3) on each page.
- A "skip to main content" link at the start of every page, for keyboard navigation.
- All informative images include descriptive alternative text (
altattribute). - Forms with
labelelements associated with each field, associated error messages and states announced to screen readers (aria-live). - Visible focus indicator on links, buttons and form fields when navigating by keyboard.
- Colour contrast reviewed to meet the minimum ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text, per WCAG criterion 1.4.3.
- Responsive design, with no loss of content or functionality when zooming up to 200%.
- The system's
prefers-reduced-motionpreference is respected: animations are reduced or disabled if the user has set this. - Menu buttons and interactive elements have ARIA attributes (
aria-expanded,aria-controls,aria-label) for screen readers.
3. Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not yet fully meet AA conformance. We work continuously to identify and fix these issues. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, we would appreciate you letting us know (see point 5).
4. Content not covered
Third-party documents linked from this site (for example, official manufacturer materials) may not meet these same criteria, as they are not under our control.
